Yesterday we had to go to the valley to get our Honda fixed so we took advantage of it and went and saw Lewis Jess, Jessi, and Alvin again. They said that every Doctor that came and checked on him was amazed at how well he was doing, some even admitting that they never thought he would make it this long. We obviously know why he is doing so well. Jessi and Alvin continue to amaze me with their up beat attitude, courage, and faith. Since he was doing so well the doctors decided to go ahead and close him up this morning, which could have caused more complications but Lil Lewie continues to be a champ! They said he came through that and is doing great. Through this I have learned a few valuable lessons...
1. The big things aren't big anymore, and it is the little things in life that matter most.
2. Family, even though they can drive you crazy at times, is really what life is ALL about.
3. There is an amazing amount of GOOD people still left in this world.
4. God hears and answers prayers, even if they are not always in the way that we think they should be answered, he is there, he is real, and he wants us to place our trust in Him and know that he is in control.

I'm so happy he is doing so well! & I agree with what you have learned..... The big things don't break us, hu? It's all the little things.
I am glad to hear that things are going so well! I was wondering how the little tyke was doing.
In these times especially we really have to look for the good things in life and I think that we will find that with our families and friends.
