Our lives have been full of craziness lately! We have had one thing after another going on and I look forward to the time when I can take a breather...not sure when that will be though:)

I have been doing lots of photo shoots...

Tristen had an orchestra concert...

I threw Tiffani Owens a baby shower (see post below)

We've had either T-Ball or Baseball almost everynight for the past few weeks...

Went to Seminary Graduation last night...

Went to an awards banquet for the kids out at Moutain Meadows this morning...

And the list goes on!

Tiffani's Baby Shower...

I had the privilege of throwing Tiffani Owens a baby shower for her baby girl that is FINALLY coming after 5 naughty boys!!

We had lots of fun and ate lots of good food!!

Congrats to Ross and Tiff...Can't wait til she gets here!!!

Tiff will all her gifts!

Tiff with all of the cute things she got...this baby made a haul!!

A few of us surprised Ross with his own little shower after Tiffani's was over. I have never seen a dad this excited about having a baby girl! It was a blast to see him open a few gifts!

Ross told Nicole and I that he was going to be doing her hair so we got together and made a bunch of bows for him!

What a Feeling!!

Not sure how all of you felt as you watched the dedication of the Gila Valley Temple today...

But for me it was incredible!!!

It was amazing to see a different side to our Prophet, President Monson, and to his counselor, President Eyring!
I am so grateful we got to be a part of this wonderful event.

It seems impossible that it has been over 8 years since the Snowflake Temple was dedicated, I remember it so well since I delivered Porter a week later:) How grateful I am for the Temple, for the covenants we make there, for our Heavenly Father's plan, and for the power that binds our family for Eternity!!

My newest little niece...

Ok so Maryjane really isn't a new addition to our family since she has been living with my sister for quite some time now, but she is the newest permanant addition to our family! We had the wonderful privilege of going to the Snowflake Temple this past Saturday to witness this beautiful little girl be sealed (by Grandpa Tenney) to her amazing parents. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have my sister living right next door and to have her kids in my home daily. I have been blessed with awesome nieces and nephews that I just love and adore!

MJ...I hope you know how much Aunt Tiff loves and adores you and how grateful I am that you were sent to our family so I could be blessed with yet another niece!

Grandma's funeral...

This is my Grandma Tenney up at BYU in 1934

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!

Grandma's Funeral services were wonderful!! I know that she was looking down upon us with that big beautiful smile of hers. It was great to spend time with family, most of them I only get to see once a year at the reunion.

To the BEST...

Happy Mother's Day!!

I couldn't let the day go by without paying tribute to my wonderful mother, and to all the mothers in my life. I have been blessed with an amazing mother. One who has taught me the gospel and has lead by example. The Lord must have known how naughty I was going to be, so he sent me to an angel mother who would love me no matter what.

Mother ~ I will love you forever!!

I also have been blessed with an amazing mother-in-law. I am grateful that almost 9 years ago she became my 2nd mom. I am grateful for her friendship and for her ability to look passed my imperfections and to treat me as one of her own. (I hope she will forgive us for not calling her today!!)

Ronna~ I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you!

I am also so grateful for the amazing privilege I have of being a mother. Growing up I always said that I just wanted to grow up to be a mom...well i got my wish. I will forever be grateful for the children that I have. Each and every one of them blesses my life on a daily basis. Though I am not perfect, and I'm sure my kids would like to trade me in for a different mom, I truly do love being a mother!!

Setting the Record Straight!

This is my friend Richard and I...

Richard is ONE OF A KIND and is one of my closest friends...he and his awesome wife volunteered to come down from Utah to babysit for us while Brandon and I went to CA for the Ragnar Race and to get away. Well...while we were gone there was a little mishap with Paul that occured during church. Let me remind you that my kids, when Brandon and I are here, are pretty dang good in church, but that was NOT the case while we were gone. Go ahead and laugh as you read the following...

Richard and Cherilyn were brave enough to take 11 kids to church while we were gone. I reassured Richard that our kids were practically perfect during sacrament meeting and that the only issue that might arise would be Paul being naughty during Primary. Well, I was WRONG. Just like the saying, 'while the cats away the mice will play', this was exactly what my Paul did. He was ALL over the place. Climbing under and over the pews, fighting with the kids, and just flat out not listening or behaving. Richard trying to keep his cool, was being very patient with Paul, but Paul wouldn't budge. Paul once again crawled under the pew and Richard reached under the bench and grabbed his leg to pull him out and put him back on the bench when Paul yelled at the top of his lungs...

'GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME YOU PERVERT!!'

According to Richard it echoed through the chapel, even stopping the speaker and causing him to look over at them. Richard was devistated!! He called me all worried that everyone in our ward was gonna think he was a pedophile!! I reassured him that eventhough everyone in our ward didn't know him, they know Paul, and know that he is beyond a handful!!!

So for all of you that were there and heard it...I PROMISE you that Richard Petty is NOT a pervert...matter of fact he is one of the most kind and loving people you could ever meet.

'Goodbye's' the Saddest Word..

Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I will cry
It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye
Those are the lyrics to one of my favorite Celine Dion Songs, and they have played over and over in my head since about 1:20 this morning when I got the call that my Grandma Tenney had finally left this mortal life. It's hard to find words that would do my Grandma justice. She was such an amazing example of virtue, forgiveness, unconditional love, and I have never met a more Christlike person in my life.
Eventhough Grandma was 96, and ready to move on to the next life, it is still hard to say goodbye and to fill that void.
Grandma...I will miss your soft smile, your sense of humor, and your love. I will always be your little chick-a-dee and you will always be my Grandma Kodak (you are the reason I LOVE photography)!! I am so grateful that Brandon and I followed the promptings of the spirit and went by to see you last Thursday. How grateful I am for the knowledge of the gospel to know that someday I will see you again and be able to throw my arms around you and give you a big fat hug!!! I will love you forever!
