Introducing Maron Kay Martineau...

It's a GIRL!! It's a Girl!! It's a GIRL!!

(I'm still having a hard time believing that Brandon and I were able to produce indoor plumbing!!)

After a LONG day at the hospital...them starting my labor, then stopping my labor, finding out she had flipped breech again, them trying to decide if I should just have it C-Section, then having faith and turning her AGAIN, finally breaking my water about 5:00pm, and a scary last 10 minutes before she was born...

Maron Kay was born January 28th @ 9:59pm weighing 6lbs 3oz and was 20 inches long.

Jami, Maron, Me, and my Mom
It was neat to have them there with us. When things started getting scary towards the end it was especially nice to have them there to keep me calm. Thanks Mom and Jami for sharing this sacred experience with us!!

Proud Daddy with his little girl

From Start to Finish this pregnancy had been so very different from my boys. I wasn't near as sick, I didn't gain near as much weight, and for the first time we actually got to come home 24 hours after she was born!!
Getting dressed in the outfit her Daddy bought for her to come home in.

After her first sponge bath at Grandma's house

Grandma spoiled us rotten for the first 4 days!

OH I'M IN LOVE!!!

We are so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed us with yet another one of his children. My heart is overjoyed!!

Still Waiting...

Yep.....

I'm STILL pregnant!!

I have never carried a baby this long so I'm getting pretty anxious. I was hoping to have had it this past week, but I guess the little one has a mind of its own already. I went in for my routine check up on Wednesday hoping my Doctor would get me going, but instead she discovered that the little stinker in BREECH!! So I spent a few hours in the hospital that evening so they could turn the baby. Well some time after I left the hospital (I think it was around 3:00am) it flipped back. So now unless it turns on its own we have to wait til this coming Friday, the 29th, for them to flip the little fart again and induce labor.

I personally have mixed emotions...I am SOOOO ready to be done, but I also feel that there is a reason this little one isn't ready to be here. I am praying that it will turn and stay down so I don't have to have a C-Section.

So...until it finally makes its debut I will TRY to be patient and enjoy the last week of this pregnancy!!
