Mile's Broken Nose & Love 4 Water!

Yetserday evening while I was out running Brandon put Miles in his swing on the back porch and told Porter to push him for a while. Well...we have a rule that NONE of the kids are allowed to get Miles out of his swing since it is quite a ways off the ground and due to Eva having dropped him one time. Anyway, Porter tried getting him out on his own and ended up dropping the poor kid on his face. We didn't take him to the ER, but we are pretty sure his nose is broken...POOR KID!!!

Miles & his lovely nose!!

Just wanted to share these pics. Miles absolutely LOVES the water and I find him playing in it ALL the time. So instead of getting mad at him the other day, I grabbed my camera. Seriously?!!...how in the world could one get mad at this face?...

Gosh I love this kid!!!

This past week has been extremely CRAZY and I will post more pictues later.

One of the highlights for me was having my friend, Summer Haws, come and visit me on Saturday! I haven't seen her in FOREVER!! We have just kept in touch through blogs and emails. She is as sweet and beautiful as ever and it was great to catch up with her! She has two beautiful girls, and my girls loved playing with Kenadee.

Throwing In The Towel!!!!

Today is one of those days where it doesn't matter how much I do of this....
life is still out of control!!
So for now I am gonna ignore... that I have had purple dye spilt on my beautiful counter tops, an entire pitcher of strawberry lemonade spilt ALL over the kitchen floor, a picture knocked off the wall and glass shattered everywhere, a call from Tristen's teacher ALREADY & school has barely been in session for a week, four little boys who will NOT stay out of the water, a baby with thrush, and a one year old cutting FOUR molers at one time,...and have me the BIGGEST damn bowl of icecream you have EVER seen!!!!

SURPRISE!!!!

I got invited to go with some friends to get a pedicure today (Saturday) and when we went to pick Ginger up Nicole honked for her and she never came out. We honked again...still no Ginger. So I decided to go in to see if she needed help carrying her baby and stuff out. Her daughter Callie answered the door and said, "My mom is going to the bathroom." I stepped inside their house and said, "Tell her to zip up her pants and lets go." Just then I looked over and saw this Baby Shower sign hanging over her door way and all of a sudden I hear..."SURPRISE!!!!!" And of course my response was, "what the hell!!" They had thrown a surprise baby shower for me and little miss Mallorry. I really was SOOOOO surprised. I am so impressed that so many people were able to keep it a secret. I was shocked when I noticed my baby was there and she was dressed all cute because when I had left home just 15 minutes earlier she was still at home in her pajamas. As soon as Nicole picked me up, Brandon hurried and got her dressed and took her up to the shower. All I gotta say is that you ALL are a big bunch of sneaky boogers!!!!

Big thanks to Ginger, Jamilyn, Nicole, Shawna, Tiffani Owens, My Mom, Tara and whomever else I might have left out, for throwing me such a fun party. And a big thanks to everybody that came and spoiled Mallory rotten. Mallory and I truly do appreciate it ALL!!!!

God made dirt...

...and dirt don't hurt!!

The other day while I was gone to the valley Brandon was outside watering plants/trees and Miles climbed up into the flower bed and made himself at home. I am glad I have trained my hubby well and that he knows when to grab the camera!

How do you get mad at this?

BACK TO SCHOOL BABY!!!!

(Amelia 1st - Mrs. Willis, Porter 2nd - Mrs. Cronin, Michael 2nd - Mrs. Honsinger, Eva 3rd - Mrs. Bell, Tristen 6th - Ms. Meyer)

We are officially BACK IN SCHOOL!! I can't believe that the summer has flown by so fast! As much as I love the fun that comes with summer, I LOVE getting back to a routine more. I do have to admit that I will have to get re-adjusted to dealing with the 6 little guys on my own, since the five that go to school have been such big helpers! But for now I am gonna enjoy less fighting, less TV time, and less mouths to feed for one meal a day!!

Baptism, Fun Date Night, & Willow Springs...

...that is what the last three posts are about!!
Today we decided to go do something fun with the kids since school is starting this coming Wednesday. We took them to Willow Springs for a couple hours and had a picnic. The kids loved being at the lake, getting to feed the ducks, and throwing rocks in the water. Surprisingly no one got hurt or lost!!

We had a BLAST on our Friday night date. We have been blessed with awesome friends and we always have a great time when we get to hang out with them. Ross came by during the week and said he had talked to everyone and that we were all gonna go out on Friday....so we loaded 6 couples, The Owens, Starkes, Reidheads, Parrys, McLaws, and us in the 15 passanger van and went to Payson to eat at Macky's Grill and then went and had some fun bowling. Michael's Baptism

Michael was FINALLY baptized on Thursday August 6th, a month exactly after his 8th birthday. We decided to wait since the week prior to his birthday was SO crazy with the adoptions, Eva's baptism, thier sealing, and the 4th of July. He was SO excited to get baptized and told everybody he would talk to. Uncle Ben, I mean John the Baptist, gave a great talk on baptism, Aunt Jami sang a beautiful special number, and Grandpa Tenney gave a wonderful talk on the Holy Ghost. We appreciate all our family and friends who made an effort to be there. We truly are blessed!!!

We love you Michael and are so proud of you and your decision to be baptized!!!

6 Friends EVERY Mom Needs...

I was reading the July Parenting Magazine and came across the article " 6 Friends Every Mom Needs." It was a great article and as I was reading it I started lauging since I could name a different friend for all 6 areas. Here they are...

#1 - The Mom In The Same Boat...I have lots of friends in the same boat...Nicole, Ginger, Tiffani, Shawna, but the one that stuck out the most was Marinda. Eventhough I didn't have triplets like her, I do have 4 boys that are all born in the same year. We laugh at our phone conversations when we can barely hear each other from all the screaming in the background!!!

#2 - The NO-kids pal...for me this one is not another girl. Lots of people don't understand how I can have so many guy friends and Brandon be ok with it. As I was reading this article to Brandon he said the very same thing I was thinking, that this was why I have guy friends. They have no idea what it is like to be a mom, or go through child birth, etc...so our conversations are NEVER about motherly subjects which is a nice break occasionally. I am grateful for my guy friends...Richard, Herzog, Tom, and Nicholas.

#3 - The Been-There, Done-That Mom...this is none other than my own mother. I am so grateful that I have her to turn to when I need advice. She definately has been there and done that and always knows how to help and what to say!!!

#4 - The I'll Do Anything For You Friend...once again I have lots of friends that are ALWAYS helping me out, but the one that came to mind first was Shawna. I can't say how many times she has come and got my kids when I'm having a stressful day, or brought us dinner, or has come over and helped me with one of my many projects!! She's amazing!

#5 - The Slightly Glam Girlfriend...this is totally my sister-in-law Tara. I love this girl and she is always helping me out with my hair and telling me what looks good and what doesn't. Don't know what I would do without my Fru-Fru Queen!!

#6 - The Brutally Honest Pal...the first one that came to mind was my one and only SISTER!! I love that she is honest with me and will tell me, from her much older and wiser view point, how things are but is nothing but nice in doing so. I love her wisdom and am so grateful God blessed me with one sister.

So to all my friends....thanks for making my life complete. I would be completely lost with out you. I know that God puts people in our lives for certain reasons. I am a better person because of my amazingly awesome friends!!!
