Today I got the opportunity to go see my great-nephew Lewis. What an amazing little guy. He is SO beautiful!! It was so good to see Jessi and Alvin. What an amazing couple they are. I am amazed at modern technology and the fact that they can work on a tiny little heart the size of a walnut. I am amazed by the outpouring of love, fasting and prayer on their behalf. I am amazed by a loving Heavenly Father who continues to send miracles and blessings to us daily.
Little Lewis Jess will be undergoing open heart surgery tomorrow morning at 8:00am. He will be in surgery for approx. 8 hours. The next couple of days are going to be crucial for this little guy. We ask that family and friends continue to pray for him and Jessi and Alvin. I will keep everybody posted on how it all goes.

Ugh...I cried as I read your post, little Lewis and his parents are in our thoughts constantly and in our prayers. My girls dont even know Jessi, but pray for her and "her babys heart" every night. Please keep us posted.

We are thinking and praying for all of you! I can't even imagine what Jessi and Alvin are going through right now! My heart breaks for them, but they are truly blessed to have such a loving and supportive network surrounding them. We hope and pray all goes well today!
I too am amazed at the outpouring of Love, support & prayers said in our behalf. We are soo lucky we dont have to go thru this difficult trial alone. Thanks for being such a great auntie & keeping everyone updated. I love you more than words could say....
