Oh what a NIGHT!!

Last night about 6:40ish our little Caden guy was running from the dinning room to the family room and tripped and hit the corner of the wall. Brandon was the first to get to him and from the sounds Brandon made I knew that it wasn't good. Needless to say less than five minutes later we loaded the car and headed for the ER. The gash ended up being approx. 2 inches long and took 7 staples to close it up...YUCK!! We had the wonderful priviledge of sitting in the waiting room for at least 2 & 1/2 hours. Caden was amazingly brave and did so good!!

Poor miserable Caden!!!

WE Miss YOU Grandma & Grandpa!!!

Brandon's parents flew in on April 18th from Washington to visit and got to stay with us until today. It was GREAT to have them here. It had almost been a year since we had seen them last and we miss them more than they know!! We had lots of fun preparing for the preparedness fair. I learned SO much from them about year supply, etc. They are so amazing and know so much!!!

Mom and Dad...I hope you know how much we love and appreciate you both!! We wish we lived closer, but we are grateful for the time we got to spend with you. Thank you for being such awesome Grandparents. The kids haven't stopped talking about you guys!! Thank you SO much for all your help with everything...for all the laundry you did, for your help with the preparedness fair, and for all the great late night talks! We LOVE and MISS you guys!!!

Little Miss Addie...This is Brandon's neice that they brought with them. She is so stinkin adorable!

Miles and Addie...they were pretty funny to watch. They were either buddy's or beating the crap out of each other.

We celebrated Dad's 55th birthday on Friday. We had a cook out with the Muder side! It was great to have everybody here.

Holy CRAP I'm OLD!!!!

So today is my 30th birthday!!! I swear I shouldn't be 30 and for sure shouldn't have 10 kids yet:o) Today has been kind of a crazy day since we had a Preparedness Fair that Brandon and I were in charge of, which I will post about later. Still it has been a pretty good day. Brandon had flowers delivered to me at the Preparedness Fair and it was pretty embarassing to have everyone sing happy birthday to me. Then Brandon took me to dinner at our favorite Italian Resturant in Payson. My sister surprised me with this beautiful sign hanging on my house and bought me a really cool planter for flowers. It HAS been a great day!!!

The sign that Jami made for me!!!...I will get her back for this!!

Another highlight of my birthday week was Marinda, Tiffani, & Shawna kidnapping me on Tuesday and taking me to Show Low for a night out on the town. We had a great time coupon shopping, eating at Grumpy Jakes, and laughing!!! Thanks girls you guys are the BeSt!!

I have the BEST FRIENDS EVER!!!

Shawna, Miranda, Me, & Tiffani...sorry this pic isn't the greatest, it was taken with my cell phone.

All Because Two People Fell In Love...

Today is my parents 47th wedding anniversary. My heart is full of gratitude toward my Heavenly Father for sending me to these two people to have as my earthly parents. Though they may not be perfect, they have been amazing examples of how one should live their life. I sure am glad that 47 years ago they decided to tie the knot!!
Thank you mom and dad for all your love, your example, your support, and most of all your dedication to our Heavenly Father and your Family.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Happy Birthday Levi

Today has been an emotional day for me. I woke up and realized that it was my good friend Levi's birthday. He has often crossed my mind since his passing this past October. My heart aches for his family today. I got a sweet letter from his sister Becca a couple weeks ago, that I will forever be grateful for, thanking me for my friendship with Levi. What she doesn't realize is that Levi was the greater friend!!!! Like all of us, Levi had his downfalls, but he was an amazing person with a big heart. After his passing I had the AMAZING opportunity to make a quilt for his family made from Levi's clothes. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity!

Happy Birthday Levi!!
We Miss Ya!!!

The front of the quilt was made from a bunch of his shirts

The back was made from his jeans

Morgon's Surgery

Morgon had surgery on his manhood parts last Wednesday. We thought that it would be a lot worse than it was. They told us that he would not feel good for a couple days and that he would probably need Tylenol with Codine...well, the kid was bouncing off the walls once his spinal block wore off!! I wish I had the energy that this kid has!
Note: Please do not ask him how his surgery went because he has no quams about pulling down his undies and showing you!!

Before the surgery!

After surgery...not so happy!

Weekend Runaways

First off on this Easter Sunday, I want to say how grateful I am for ALL of my blessings. The Lord has been so good to me, and I often find myself not showing the gratitude he deserves!
This weekend was a run away weekend! I decided about midnight on Wednesday that I was going to run away. I wasn't sure where I was going or what I would be doing, but I just needed to get away. I had had it with life!!! This life that Brandon and I have chosen is not an easy one and I find myself needing a big break occasionally...so I ran away!!
I caught a ride up north to Utah with Mitchell B. When he heard that I wanted to go to Utah and he was heading that direction he offered me a ride. We left Thursday morning about 8:30. We went to St. George first to pick up a dog kenell and thought we were picking up a dog he was going to buy. When we got to St. George he called the guy he was suppose to buy it from and he had already sold it. We went out to dinner to the Pizza Factory with Herzog's Grandma and then went to the St. George temple. We decided that instead of staying at his grandma's house we would go ahead and drive the rest of the way up to Ogden. We got to Ogden about midnight. A BIG thanks to Herzog's parents, Kristie & Nate, for letting me stay there. They are great people!!
Friday Morning I was going to rent a car, but found out that I couldn't get one until 6:00pm and that they would charge me $75.00 to return it to the airport. So Mitchell B. offered to give me a ride to Provo on his way to Moab to go bear hunting. Since we had most of the day to hang out we went to Farr Better Icecream and he took me over to my sister-in-law Dusty's house so I could visit and see Dallas and Chelsea's baby girl, Marley. After we visited for a while we went back and packed his truck for their hunt and then headed to Provo. We got to Provo about 5:00pm and I took Herzog and his brother Jordan to Tucanos for some dinner. After dinner they dropped me off at my cousin Sara's house where I stayed the rest of the weekend. I went and hung out with my awesome friend Toni, for a couple of hours and then came back and stayed up talking with Sara and Pete until 3:00am!
Saturday morning my good friend Richard picked me up at 8:00 so we could head to the Mt. Timpanogas temple to do a session. We had just drove up to the temple when I got a call from Brandon telling me that Tristen had taken off in the middle of the night!!! Yep!! Ross and Tiffani Owens got a knock at their door at 4:05am and it was TRISTEN!!!!!! He had walked over two miles to their house in the snow with NO flashlight because he wanted to spend the night with Devin, and Devin wasn't even there...he was spending the night at Brocks. I honestly did not want to believe what Brandon was telling me. I still am at a loss for words over this situation. So as I was sitting in the parking lot of the temple I had a nervous break down. Why would he do that? What if something would have happened to him? Are we really sucking it up that bad as parents? What was he thinking? After about 45 minutes of sobbing(poor Richard had to witness the entire thing) I gathered myself together and went inside. I don't think I have been so emotional through a session! I am SOOOOO grateful that I went, that I could feel his love for me, and that I could receive comfort that I needed. We still have no idea what we are doing to do with Tristen, so if anybody has any suggestions please send it our way. AFter the session we went and picked up Richard's wife and baby and headed to eat. THANKS Richard for being there and for being such an AMAZING friend!!!! Then I went and hung out with Sara the rest of the night. Pete was nice enough to watch their boys while we just went and talked. THANKS to Sara for letting me stay at your house and for our great talks!! I needed it!
So now it is back to life and back to reality for me. I would be ungrateful if I didn't thank my hubby. I seriously am married to the most amazing person in the world! He knows my needs and is always so willing to let me get away!! I love him and don't know what I would do without him!!!
Mitchell B. and I in front of the St. George Temple

The St. George Temple has always been one of my favorites!

Finally got to meet my adorable niece Marley!!

One of our Favorites!!

One of our FaVoRiTe missionaries came back to visit this past week. I can't tell you how much we love and adore this kid. I swear I should not be old enough to be calling them kids, but I am! Elder Mitchell B. Herzog, a.k.a. Herzog, Mitchelas, and Herzdog, became a part of our lives back in March of 2007. Heber was his first area so when we met him he was very shy and quiet, and you could tell that this mission thing was WAY out of his comfort zone. Well, over the past two years we have watched him come out of that little shell of his, and have got to know the real Mitchell B. Herzog who is full of life, funny, and dang adorable! We have loved having him here for the past few days and are sad he is leaving us to go back to Utah!
We will miss you Mitchell B!! Come back to see us soon!
He brought part of his family up on Saturday. We had met his mom and little brother before while we were in Utah two summers ago, but finally got to meet his Dad and his sister-in-law Jenna...his brothers Tyler & Jordan were down in Scottsdale golfing so they didn't get to come up to Heber.

Engagement Pics

This past weekend I had the priviledge of taking Alexis Nelson's engagement pics. Her and Jake are adorable together and I seriously couldn't be happier for her! Lexi has been a great friend! Not only did I use to babysit her, but I grew to love this girl through vocal lessons! There is not anybody that deserves this happiness more. Congrats to Lexi and Jake!!

I made her sisters tag along so we could get some sister pics...they are funny girls!
