Our family worked hours with my Dad on a beautiful garden this summer. For quite some time we hadn't received any rain. One day while in the garden my dad said, 'my friend Pete Shumway once said that he would sacrifice his garden for a good hail storm if it meant that Taylor got moisture... And I am starting to feel the same way!!' Well we got just that...the craziest hail storm we've ever seen. Matter of fact...that was the last phone I got from my Dad, to tell me that he had jinxed us:) Even though it destroyed quite a bit of the garden...we still harvested plenty of yummy veggies!!
