Christmas Eve...

 Dad & Mom Martineau came to visit for a couple days before Christmas.  We love having them here with us and it's always hard to let them leave.  This year for Christmas we gave them a quilt...I finally finished the one I started making them 8 months ago!!

My favorite part of Christmas Eve was when Dickie Brown showed up in a Santa suit!!!  This guy is hilarious! The funniest part is that Maron knew exactly who he was and said, 'Hi Dickie!!'

Randy & Cynthia and their adorable girls came and spent Christmas with us this year!  We love having them here...they don't get any cuter than these 4!!

A visit from Santa...

 Our favorite visitor stopped by on the evening of the 23rd.  Our kids always look forward to our special visit from this special Santa!  This year was extra special since we had two of Brandon's nieces here with us.  It was awesome to see these two girls get so excited.  The older one put her arm around the younger one and said, 'see Lexi...I told you he was real!'  

Thanks Santa for always remembering the Martineau children and for fitting us into your VERY busy schedule!!!! I hope you know how special you always make them feel!!

 I love that our school still puts on an annual Christmas Program.  As always...the kids did great!!!

Thanks Christmas Gingerbread Birthday...

 Yep you heard it right!...this post is going to cover Thanksgiving, Christmas Tree cutting, Gingerbread House making, and Caden's 7th B-day!!

1st we will start with Thanksgiving...We decided to stay put this year for Thanksgiving since it was our 1st one without my Dad and we felt we should spend that time with my mom.  We had lots of fun playing with cousins and doing all of the fun filled family traditions!!

One of my mom's many traditions is Gingerbread houses and sugar cookies with the grandkids.  I'm not going to lie...it's not my most favorite of all traditions but my kids sure do love it!!

Now...One of my most Favorite traditions is getting our Christmas tree!!  My family started this tradition LONG before I was born(I know, I know...we aren't the ONLY family that does this).  It was hard going without my Dad this year, but we all felt him with us!!

While out getting trees JT decided to propose to his sweet little girlie friend, Lexi!  Jami and I went out and set it up where we tied this sign and the ring to a tree.  Then JT took Lexi for a 4-wheeler ride and just happened to run into it:)

We also celebrated Caden's 7th Birthday Thanksgiving weekend.  Can hardly believe this little guy is 7 already!!  He is a sweet boy and we are so grateful that Heavenly Father sent him to our family!!

We've been SUPER tired around here!...with Brandon's new job where he leaves at 4:00am and gets home at 7:00pm we find him sleeping in funny places!  Thanks for being such a hard worker babe!!
